Dora es socia del banco comunal Yanuncay, vive por el sector de Don Bosco en la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad es patrimonio cultural de la humanidad desde 1999, fue nombrada así por la belleza arquitectónica de su centro histórico, su gente es muy amable, cordial y mantiene su cultura y tradiciones.

La Señora. Dora tiene 28 años, es casada y tiene 4 hijos de 15, 14, 13, 11 años de edad, sus tres primeros hijos estudian en el colegio y su ultimo hijo en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo es chofer profesional y labora conduciendo un bus, viven en un departamento que es propio.

Doña Dora se dedica a la elaboración de globos de papel de china, esta actividad lo aprendió de sus padres quienes trabajaban en esta labor. Sus hijos le ayudan todos los días de domingo a domingo y sin un horario fijo, Son 20 años que se dedica a esto ya que comenzó desde muy pequeña.

Se encuentra en su segundo crédito que realiza en el banco comunal y tiene muy buenas amigas, el dinero de su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de materiales como: papel de china, carrizos, alambre, pegamento, etc. para la elaboración de los globos. Su meta es crecer en su negocio y llegar a tener un taller de costura.
