The 'Walisuma' community bank is managed by an executive committee led by a president, Fidela. The bank's members have different businesses such as: working in a guest house, making traditional skirts, selling bricks, selling cell phones and knitting bedspreads.

Fidela, the bank's president, says that she has been a member of the 'Walisuma' community bank for one loan cycle but she was previously a member of another group for one loan cycle too. This means that she has been a client of Pro Mujer for approximately one year. This is the length of time she has had her brick selling business. Fidela makes bricks because she saw that it is a profitable business. She used to work in a guest house. She will use this loan to buy sawdust and firewood, fuel that she uses to bake her bricks. She makes her sales in Villa Exaltación district, Av. Aroma.

La A.C. “WALISUMA” iniciará el ciclo número uno en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Villa Exaltación. Está compuesta por ocho integrantes, el día de la reunión estaba presente una señora que acompañaba a otra socia, por eso se ven 9 personas en la foto. La asociación comunal “WALISUMA” está dirigida por una mesa directiva y a la cabeza de la misma se encuentra una presidenta, la señora Fidela. Los negocios que las integrantes de la banca comunal llevan adelante son variados: atención de una Pensión, confección de enaguas, venta de ladrillos, venta de celulares, tejido de camas y venta de ladrillos.

La señora Fidela, presidenta de la asociación comunal, indica que forma parte de la A.C. “WALI SUMA” un ciclo, pero antes estaba en otro grupo también por un ciclo, lo que significa que es cliente de Pro Mujer aproximadamente un año, el mismo tiempo que tiene el negocio de venta de ladrillos. La señora Fidela se ha dedicado a la elaboración de ladrillos por que ha visto que es un negocio rentable, antes atendía una Pensión. El crédito de este ciclo será destinado a comprar aserrín y leña, combustible que la señora utiliza para cocer los ladrillos. La venta es realizada en la zona de Villa Exaltación, Av. Aroma.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el crédito.
