For several years Aghabek worked as an engineer and since this year he is working with the police.
Starting in 2010, Aghabek, simultaneously with his permanent job, has been growing plants in his own greenhouse and has also been beekeeping. In his greenhouse he raises watercress, coriander, green beans, etc., which he sells in the Ijevan market during the winter months. Thanks to incomes from all his occupations, Aghabek supports his family and pays for his son’s education.
Aghabek is asking for a 600,000 Armenian Dram (AMD) loan to construct a new greenhouse, where he will grow cucumbers, tomatoes and hot peppers. His future income will help Aghabek to pay his son’s educational fees.
