Born in l958, M. is married with four children. He has very little education because his parents were poor and there was nobody to support him to further his education. He joined GHAPE in 1999. He has proven beyond doubt his ability to receive, invest, repay loans, and provide quality goods including piglets, manure and food crops to his community.

M. has gained from the many people within GHAPE and his immediate environment mainly because of his leadership qualities demonstrated at all levels. His desire is to provide steady transportation services and keep up with customers demand. Given this loan, he plans to buy a motorcycle, pay the registration and obtained all required official documents. Since the roads are not in good conditions and transport vehicles hardly travel this road regularly. Motorcycles are the only alternatives to transport people and luggage.

The Grounded and Holistic Approach to People's Empowerment (GHAPE) is a non-profit NGO based in Bamenda, Cameroon. GHAPE works towards the empowerment of the poor and poverty alleviation through a highly multi-faceted approach. Every client is trained in business management, basic health, life skills, financial management, profits and losses, and family values.
