Sinh T. V. is 58 years old and the mother of two children, both of whom are married. She makes a living by running a small restaurant where she makes and serves breakfast. She started this business in 2004, after securing her first microfinance loan from our organization. Her business is doing well, and she is applying for a new loan, for 6,233,000 VND to buy the equipment she needs to expand her restaurant and serve more customers.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
