Mr. Daniel Santos C. Aviles is an active employee of the Ministry of Health and he works as an ETV technician. He has worked for this organization for twenty-two years. He is married and he has two young children. He has had five previous loans through Ceprodel and they have all been used to purchase construction materials to expand and improve his house. The loan he requests will be used to purchase medications. The loans granted by Ceprodel (Kiva Field Partner) have been a great help because he has been able to resolve some family-related problems, and improve his quality of life and that of his family.

Ha tenido cinco créditos con CEPRODEL y cada uno los ha realizado para la compra de materiales de construcción para ampliar y mejorar su casa de habitación y este lo está solicitando para compra de medicamento, los cuales los créditos con ceprodel le ha beneficiado en gran manera ya que de esta manera el ha solucionado problemas familiares y también ha mejorado su condición de vida de su familia.
This loan is administered by Centro de Promocion del Desarrollo Local (CEPRODEL), one of Kiva’s larger partners in Central America. Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry. Supporting a borrower through CEPRODEL means contributing to the promotion and sustainability of this important work in Nicaragua.
