Amina is a married woman with six children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.
She operates a farming business, planting bananas and sugarcane for sale from home to her neighbors. Amina faces a major challenge of seasonality and the high cost of transportation in her business. She hopes to expand her business in the future.
With the 40,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase bundles of bananas to plant in her farm. She decided to join Yehu to get education on other business opportunities and improve her business.
