Odette is 45 years old, married, and has four children. Odette’s husband sells cattle and supports her in whatever she does. Odette has a shop in which she sells various home items such as soap, matches, and sugar. Odette has done this business for seven years and it has helped her to pay for her children’s school fees. Odette is requesting a new loan in order to expand her shop; she wants to buy other foodstuffs and items such as maize flour, bread, and juices. With the profits she plans buy more items and in the future she hopes to open up a supermarket.
