Bati N. is a married man with 10 children. His wife does not work and stays at home to take care of the household chores while Bati goes to his clinic at Changamwe in Mombasa to provide medical services to his customers at his clinic.
Mombasa is in the coastal region of Kenya and is well-known for its many tourist-attraction sites, not forgetting the Indian Ocean's white beaches.
He has been in this business for the last five years and has managed to provide employment to three people. He says that this business is profitable and the major challenge he has is financial constraints. Sometimes, he also gets harassment from the local government. However, he works very hard from early morning to late evening to keep his business doing well.
He is using his loan of 80,000 Kenyan shillings to buy more drugs to be able to give proper medications to his customers. He hopes to have the best clinic with the best public relations in the future. He also sees the business growing to a big hospital that will be providing treatment to more people. He describes himself as a very hardworking man.
