Koun P. sells a few wares in front of her home. She sells items like soft drinks, sweets for kids, and some cooking supplies. Her husband works as a local farmer and earns an income of around US$3 each day to share with Koun P. the responsibility for providing for the family’s living expenses. Koun P. is blessed with a lovely child, who still lives under her care. Recently, the stock of some of Koun P.’s items has been exhausted; she wants to restock and is requesting a loan to replenish her inventory to continue selling. Note: Koun P. and her young child appear in the photo.
