Alicia A., 56 years old, is married with 5 kids. Alicia owns and operates a business venture in the agriculture sector planting and harvesting rice for sale. She works hard to provide her family with a better standard of living. Alicia plans to start a backyard piggery to have an extra source of income.
Alicia is in need of additional seeds and fertilizers. She has applied for a loan of 20,000 PHP from Kiva partner, CEVI. She will also use part of the loan to buy piglets to raise. She is hopeful that this loan will help improve her harvest.
