Bakytbek's Group
In this Group: Bakytbek , Zulumbek, Bubukalipa, Kenjebu
Sculptures from times of Soviet period and of Kyrgyz Independence period made by famous Kyrgyz sculptors and architects can be seen in most of the city parks of Kyrgyzstan. Our following creditor is very unique, because he creates pieces of art.

Bakytbek K., 42, is a member of this group. Being inspired by successful people and historical events, Bakytbek always felt comfortable expressing his emotions in clay. Sculptures have been his passion since early childhood, when he used to make figures from sand on the beach at Lake Issyk Kul. He tried working on monuments and plates with inscriptions, and realized he could turn his hobby into a business.

To Bakytbek’s surprise, this business started developing at a high pace. Now he has orders almost every day and is quite busy. Seven years have brought good results. At this moment Bakytbek earns 7,000 monthly, which supports his wife and four children financially. The purpose of his applying for a loan is to purchase raw materials for accomplishing more orders from customers. Bakytbek is very thankful to lenders, because it gives him the opportunity to express his inner world and make a living through his favorite occupation.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
