Lim K., 52, is a widowed farmer who lives with her two children in Takeo province. She typically makes US$2 each day and would like to increase her profits. The weather conditions have been difficult in Cambodia this past year and inflation has also been out of control. These factors have played into a difficult economic year for many Cambodians, Lim K. included. She is asking for a loan of US$1200 to purchase fertilizer for the farm, and raise pigs.
