Each one of the members has their own business. Some of the businesses are selling cosmetics, making clothes, a café, making pastries, selling canned goods, a sweet shop, recycling paper, and making chocolates. The Estrellas del Cielo Communal Bank is run by the board of directors. The board is comprised of a president, a treasurer, and a secretary.

The president, Iris, has been in communal banks for two and a half years. This is her fourth cycle in the Estrellas del Cielo Communal Bank. Iris is married, and she lives with her husband. They have three children under their care. The president’s business is recycling paper. She has had the business for ten years. She has a store where she gathers the papers together. She then sells this paper to the factories as they need it. She works with a girl because the store is open from nine in the morning until eight at night from Mondays through Saturdays.

The loan she is requesting is to pay the people who bring the paper. She says that she always needs to have cash to be able to make a purchase.

When asked why she is in Pro Mujer, she replied, “The loan”.

La Banca Comunal Estrellas del Cielo está ingresando al ciclo Nro. 4, son mujeres entusiastas y con deseos de continuar formado parte del grupo, pues se sienten en confianza. Pertenecen al centro focal de Villa Exaltación, está integrado por 8 mujeres.
Cada una de los integrantes ya tiene negocio propio, ente los cuales se tiene: venta de cosméticos, confección de ropa, cafetería, repostería, venta de conservas, confitería, reciclaje de papel, chocolatería. La Banca Comunal Estrellas del Cielo está dirigida por una mesa directiva compuesta por una presidenta, una tesorera y una secretaria de actas.
La presidenta, la señora Iris ha participado durante dos años y medio en bancas comunales, este es su cuarto ciclo en la banca comunal Estrellas del Cielo. La señora Iris esta casada y junto a su esposo tienen bajo su cuidado a sus tres hijos. El negocio que ocupa a la señora presidenta es el reciclaje de papel, ya son diez años, cuenta con una tienda donde acopia el papel y luego vende este papel a las fábricas que así lo requieran. Le colabora una muchacha, pues la tienda está abierta de nueve de la noche a ocho de la noche, de lunes a sábado.
El crédito que está solicitando le servirá para pagar a las personas que traigan el papel, la señora comenta que siempre debe tener dinero en efectivo para poder realizar la compra.
Cuando se le consulta por que está en Pro Mujer ella responde “el crédito”.
