Thun S., 55, is married and resides with her three children in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantations.
S. sells Cambodian noodles, earning an income of US $2 per day. Her husband is a farmer, earning an income of US $2 per day to help cover the family expenses.
Each month, the family has to spend US $82 on food and $5 on other necessary expenses. S. is requesting a loan of US $600 to purchase more fertilizer to improve the farm. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
