Hadija is married with one child who attends school. She owns a house that has potable water but no electricity. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.
For the past three years, Hadija has operated a tailoring business, selling clothes from home to her neighbors. Her major business challenge is seasonality, as during January the demand for clothing is low in comparison with December.
Hadija decided to join Yehu to access funds to improve her business. She is requesting a loan of 20,000 KES to purchase cloth and materials for tailoring. In the future, Hadija hopes to establish a wholesale tailoring shop.
