Rehema is married with two children, both of whom attend school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are house rent and school fees.
Rehema has operated a car hire business for the past three years, passengers being her potential customers. Rehema faces a major challenge of theft in her business. She want to use this KES 40,000 loan to purchase tires to repair her cars. She decided to work with Yehu because of its good reputation in her society.She hopes to build her own home in the future.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
