Zainabu is a married woman with three children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.
She has operated a natural juice selling business for the past three years, sellling from home to her neighbors and passersby. Zainabu faces a major challenge of seasonality. During rainy winter season the demand for natural juice is low compared to the hot summer season. Zainabu hopes to establish rental houses in the future.
With the Kshs 20,000 she wants to purchase a compressor for making natural juices for sale. She decided to work with Yehu because of its good reputation in her society.
