Jenalyn S. is from the town of Sta. Josefa. She is 35 years old. Jenalyn is married and has two children aged 16 and 14. To make a living, Jenalyn owns and operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Like any other mother, she wants her children to finish college and have bright futures.
Jenalyn joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Jenalyn has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Jenalyn is requesting a new loan of 17000 PHP which will be used to buy seeds, fertilizers and feeds. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to make improvements to their house.
