Jovia is a 27 years old, married, has three children and lives in a house she rents in Kasese, Uganda. For the last five years, she has made a living selling cassava flour. She started with 200,000 shillings in capital and has increased that sum to 2,800,000 shillings. Despite many hardships and high transportation costs, her goal is to sell at least 100 bags of flour a week. She has applied for this loan to buy more cassava to sell to her customers.
