In 1980, Konichbek got married and soon became a father of one son and one daughter. His marriage was very happy, but in 1997 tragedy shattered his life - his beloved wife died and he became a single parent, taking care of his children by himself. Despite his difficulties, Konichbek made every effort to provide his children with all they needed. In order to cover all of his family's expenses, he started to take on different orders, for decorations and interiors. Konichbek also takes part in regional exhibitions and trade fairs, where his work has become very popular and in great demand.
In order to broaden his activities, Konichbek took his first loan from Bai Tushum in order to purchase canvases, pigments and baguettes, which were used as intended and the loan was repaid. Now, Konichbek has applied for a loan of 50,000 KGS to buy artistic materials (colours, canvases, etc), revenues of which will allow him to renovate his studio. In the future, Konichbek dreams of showing his paintings in international exhibitions under his motto: “Cooperation leads to the peace of the world”.
