The 'Plan 3000' community bank is a group of 10 women who decided to create their community bank in order to access loans, training and health services. The 'Plan 3000' community bank is part of the Senkata regional office. They members are starting their first loan cycle.

Each of the group's members has her own business. These include: knitting sweaters, running a neighborhood store, sewing bags, selling meals, selling pre-paid phone cards, selling soap, detergent powder, etc., selling pitas and selling auto spare parts.

The 'Plan 3000' community bank is run by a board of directors which includes a president (Nadir), a treasurer (Teodora) and a secretary (Silvia).

The group's president, Nadir, is a young woman of 25 who lives with her husband and child. Her business is serving in her neighborhood store and also selling toys. She set up her neighborhood store on her own initiative two years ago. She sells toys in Uyustus market and learned that business from her sister. She makes her sales all day Saturday and Sunday.

Nadir is requesting a loan for 1,000 bolivianos to buy toys.

As a new client of Pro Mujer, when we asked Nadir what she liked about the institution she replied "the medical services and savings".

La Banca Comunal PLAN 3000, es un grupo de 10 mujeres que han decidido formar esta banca comunal para recibir crédito, capacitación y atención en salud. La B.C. Plan 3000 es parte del centro focal de Senkata, están iniciando su primer ciclo.
Cada una de ellas tienen negocios propios, de diferentes tipos, como ser: tejido de chompas, atención de una tienda de barrio, costura de bolsas, venta de comida, venta de tarjetas para teléfono pre-pago, venta de jabones, detergente en polvo y otros, venta de pitas y repuestos de autos.

Para su organización, la B.C. Plan 3000 cuenta con una mesa directiva integrada por una presidenta, la señora Nadir, una tesorera, la señora Teodora y una secretaria de actas, la señora Silvia.

La Presidenta, la señora Nadir, es una mujer joven de 25 años de edad, vive con su esposo y su hijo. El negocio de la señora Nadir es la atención de una tienda de Barrio y también la venta de juguetes. La tienda de barrio fue iniciado por iniciativa propia hace dos años, la venta de juguetes en el mercado Uyustus, es resultado del aprendizaje que tuvo con el negocio de su hermana, la venta son los días sábado y domingo, todo el día.
La solicitud que ha presentado la señora Nadir es por Bs.1000.-, monto de dinero que le servirá para la compra de juguetes.
La señora presidenta está ingresando como cliente a Pro Mujer por primera vez, cuando se le consulta que es lo que le gusta de la institución, ella responde la atención médica y el ahorro.
