There are eight people are forming a village bank loan; they are living in Chek village in Kandal province. Mrs. Vann S., is 47 years old, and she is a village bank president having been selected by its members. While each member of this village will use their money to support their different purpose.

Mrs. Vann S. and her husband, Mr. Eab La, are farmers who own 4-hectares of land which they use to cultivate rice for a living. This spouse is working hard with the farm, but they still lake some money to grow their rice field. Thus, Mrs. Vann S. decided to ask for a loan to pay to purchase the water machines for pumping water to water rice plants. Aside from farmer, her husband also earns income by house constructing. This couple has three children; two are laborers and another is attending in a local school.
