Rosa, the community bank president, says that she has been part of the Estrellas de Mayo group for two cycles, approximately one year. She is a married mother of two children. She has a neighbourhood store in her own home. Given the schedule required to tend to a neighbourhood store, from very early to very late, her children help her. Maria says that this business was born from her own initiative. Her first loan was 2000 Bs., and the loan that she is currently requesting is for 2000 Bs. Both loans were to be invested in the purchase of products for her store. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replied taht she likes the training.

La B.C. “Estrellas de Mayo” iniciará el ciclo número dos en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Germán Busch. Está compuesta por ocho integrantes, la banca comunal está dirigida por una mesa directiva y a la cabeza de la misma se encuentra una presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la banca comunal llevan adelante son variados: venta de pan, venta de ropa, hilado de lana, trenzado de mantas, tienda surtida, tejido de chompas, venta de ropa de bebe, venta y producción de masitas.

La señora Rosa, presidenta de la banca comunal, indica que forma parte de la B.C. “Estrellas de Mayo” dos ciclos, aproximadamente año. Actualmente casada, madre de dos hijos, su negocio es la atención de una tienda de barrio en su propio domicilio. Debido al horario de atención que exige la ateción de una tienda de barrio, desde muy temprano hasta muy tarde, recibe la colaboración de sus hijos. La señora María comenta que este negocio nació de su propia inciativa. Su primer crédito fue de Bs2000 el que está solicitando en esta oportunidad también es de Bs2000, en ambos casos está destinado a ser invertido en la compra de productos para la tienda.
