Dominador L. is from the village of Barangay Inaban, Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya. He is 60 years old, married and has 4 adult children. To make a living, Dominador owns and operates a business planting and harvesting a variety of vegetables for sale. Dominador has been engaged in his business for over 20 years and earns approximately 25,000 PHP a month from these activities.
In 2009, Dominador joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Dominador has successfully repaid a previous loan of 15,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise.
Dominador is requesting a new loan of 22,000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. This loan will be the second loan taken out by Dominador from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of his family.
ASKI is one of the pioneer microfinance institutions in the Philippines committed to serve the needy in Central and Northern Luzon through socio-economic development and holistic transformation.
