Whilst there are always difficulties, the women find ways to get ahead and to continue obtaining loans from Fundación Paraguaya.

The ladies work selling various merchandise to fill their customers' orders. Some sell meat, oil, flour, etc.., others sell clothes, run a grocery store or sell meals.

The head of this group, Elva Benítez, is married to Silvio Fernández. They live with 6 people in their home and 2 of them work (her and her husband).

Elva sells merchandise such as meat and other essential food products according to what her customers ask for. She says that her strategy for selling more is to place only a small profit margin on the price she charges for her products. She also provides excellent customer service.

En todos estos años han vivido muchas experiencias como grupo, que las ha formado para seguir trabajando solidariamente entre todas.
Si bien siempre se presentan dificultas, ellas encuentran la forma de salir adelante y seguir obteniendo el crédito con la Fundación.
Las señoras se dedican a la venta de mercaderías varias de acuerdo a los pedidos de sus clientes, por ejemplo, carne, aceite, harina, etc., otras venden ropas, tienen despensa, venta de comidas y otros.
La directora general Elva Benítez, está casada con Silvio Fernández, quienes viven entre 6 personas en su vivienda y trabajan 2 (ella y su marido).
