Gerardine is 38 years old, separated from her husband, and has three children and one orphan she cares for. Currently, three of her children attend school. Gerardine owns a beauty salon, which she has had for 13 years. She will use this loan to purchase hair products and cosmetics. With the new profits from her expanded business, Gerardine plans to expand her salon business and build another house to rent. She would also like to start a chicken farm in the future.
