Mariluz
Mariluz is a member of the Communal Bank “Geraneos”. She is 30 years old, in a common law marriage, and has three children (ages 10, 7, and 1½).

Mariluz makes cheese and yogurt and will use this loan to buy milk. Her husband travels every day to Socos and the surrounding areas to buy the milk and then brings it back to Ayacucho so that they can make the cheese and yogurt. The products are sold Monday through Friday from her home. On Sundays they travel to the fair in Huanta with the whey produced from the milk. Mariluz and her husband also raise pigs and chickens to sell.

She enjoys FINCA because of the loans, the savings, and the training classes that teach her how to work. Her dream is to save so that she can purchase a car and travel to collect milk.
