Phan C., 33, is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase firewood to resell. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. C. is married and resides with her husband and three children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia, in an area known for being well-supplied with freshwater from major rivers.
C. and her husband sell firewood, earning an income of USD 6 per day. The family has to spend USD 66 on food, USD 15 on electricity supply, and USD 10 on other necessary expenses every month. This is Phan C.'s first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
