The community bank "Los Pinos" is on its first loan cycle and it is located in Centro Focal de Los Andes. It is made up of thirteen members. The management of the group is made up of the leader, Olga, the treasurer, Cristina, and the secretary is Mary Cruz. The members' business are related to commerce, production, and service, such as: clothing retail, cobbler, convenience store, knitting, wool clothing, sale of coca leaves, art sales, flower sales, and the sale of produce.

Olga is the leader of the community bank "Los Pinos". She is married and she is the mother of three children. Four years ago her mother taught her how to knight sweaters and baby clothes by hand. She has kept up the business because she is able to work from home. She is therefore able to do the household chores and she can also take care of her kids. She sells her products in the market called 16 de Julio, on Thursdays and Sundays. But she also travels to Desaguadero, a nearby location that is near the border of the neighboring country of Peru.

La Banca Comunal “LOS PINOS” está iniciando su ciclo número uno en el Centro Focal de LOS ANDES. Cuenta con trece integrantes. La mesa directiva está compuesta por la presidenta, la señora Olga, la tesorera, la señora Cristina y como secretaria de actas la señora Mary Cruz. Los negocios de las señoras están relacionados con el comercio, producción y servicio, como ser: venta de mantas y polleras, taller de calzados de cholita, tienda de barrio, tejido de chompas, tejidos a mano con groché y machiné, tejido de prendas de lana, venta de coca, pinado de cuadros, tejido de chompas tienda surtida venta de flores, venta de de verduras.

La señora Olga presidenta de la B.C. “Los Pinos”, esta casada y es madre de tres hijos.
Hace cuatro años, su mamá le enseñó a tejer a mano chompas y ropa para bebé. Ella mantiene este trabajo por que le permite quedarse en su domicilio, al mismo tiempo que trabaja puede realizar las tareas de su hogar y/o apoyar a sus hijos. Las ventas son realizadas en la feria 16 de Julio los días jueves y domingo y también viaja a Desaguadero, una localidad cercana, fronteriza con el vecino país del Perú.
