B. Umaru has had a business selling timber in Kijwiga Mpara for two years. He is 41 years old and married with seven children, all still attending school. His customers are mostly transporters to Kampala that buy at a lower price and sell at a higher price once they get to market. He is able to make 40,000/= in weekly profit, in addition to his other agricultural business. He is grateful that he took the advice of a fellow friend and now he sees and feels the results. He is very hardworking and self-motivated.
Umaru is an individual client from Kyenjojo. He needs a loan to be able to buy more trees for timber production.
