This committee was formed thanks to Mrs. Blanca Rosa O. de Candia, who lives in the city of Villarrica. She extended the invitation and they all were happy to accept. They formed the urban women's committee called Comité Mujeres Activas [Active Women's Committee].

The members of the committee work in artisanal crafts. This is work that they inherited from their parents; it is passed down from generation to generation.

They make beautiful articles such as: shirts, tablecloths and aopo'i. The members also work in selling food products, as well as produce, as well as cutting hair.

Blanca works in this same activity. She is the president of the group and an artisan. She is asking for the loan to buy the fabric for aopo'i and fabric dyes.

The members of this committee are grateful to Kiva and the Fundación Paraguaya for the support they have offered and they say that thanks to it they are going to be able to continue working and giving their families a better quality of life.

Este Comité se formó gracias a la Señora Blanca Rosa O. de Candia, que vive en la cuidad de Villarrica. Ella realizó la invitación y todas encantadas aceptaron conformar el Comité de Mujeres Urbanas nombrando al Comité Mujeres Activas.
Las integrantes del comité se dedican a la Artesanía, que es un trabajo que heredaron de sus padres y va pasando de generación en generación.
Confeccionando hermosas prendas de vestir como ser: camisas, manteles, en aopo´i, también las integrantes se dedican al comercio de productos alimenticios, también productos hortícolas, como así también a la peluquería.
A la misma actividad también se dedica la señora Blanca quein es la presidenta del grupo y trabajado artesana. Ella solicita el préstamo para la compra de telas para aopo´i y colorantes para las telas.

Las integrantes de este comité agradecen a Kiva y a la Fundación Paraguaya por el apoyo ofrecido y manifiestan que gracias a ello van a poder seguir trabajando y dándole a su familia una mejor calidad de vida.
