Oksana is a single mom raising a 5-year-old son. Oksana is a small entrepreneur from Ivano-Frankivsk. She sells sportswear, e.g. t-shirts, sweatsuits and athletic footwear in the central marketplace of her home town. She launched her enterprise 17 years ago. Currently, her monthly income amounts to 7,000 Grivnyas.
Oksana is requesting a loan of 8,000 Grivnyas to purchase an assortment of winter sportswear to meet her clients’ demands. She is hoping to buy 50 pairs of sweats and 20 sports jackets, thus diversifying her merchandise. Oksana admits she was forced to try her luck in business and launched her startup when she failed to find a job as a vet. One of her long-term plans is to open her own sportswear and footwear store some day. This business is her only source of income.
