Machaj Mara Group
Miss Dionicia, president of the association "Machaj Mara", is a young woman 27 years old and single. She says that her business is selling fruit for over the past five years. Her mother taught her how to do this. Moreover, she not only sells the fruit but also travels to Nor Yungas to bring fruit back. She sells from Monday to Sunday from 1 pm to 6 pm at the Villa Dolores. She has the help of her sister.
This is the first time she applies for a loan. With the money she hopes to buy more fruit. When asked about what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded with caution "I will know soon", for right now the loan is what has made her become part of the community bank.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
