The Village Bank "MACHAJ MARA" is entering its first cycle in the coordination center VILLA EXALTACION. It has nine members. The board is composed of the president, Mrs. Dionicia, the treasurer, Mrs. Leonarda and as recording secretary Wilma. The women's businesses are related to trade, production and service, such as: sale of internal organs and other offal from cows, selling fruit, selling CD`s, making shirts, pastry shop, selling food, selling means of communication.

Miss Dionicia, president of the association "Machaj Mara", is a young woman 27 years old and single. She says that her business is selling fruit for over the past five years. Her mother taught her how to do this. Moreover, she not only sells the fruit but also travels to Nor Yungas to bring fruit back. She sells from Monday to Sunday from 1 pm to 6 pm at the Villa Dolores. She has the help of her sister.

This is the first time she applies for a loan. With the money she hopes to buy more fruit. When asked about what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded with caution "I will know soon", for right now the loan is what has made her become part of the community bank.

La Banca Comunal “MACHAJ MARA” está iniciando su primer ciclo en el Centro Focal de VILLA EXALTACIÓN. Cuenta con nueve integrantes. La mesa directiva está compuesta por la presidenta, la señora Dionicia, por la tesorera, la señora Leonarda y como secretaria de actas Wilma. Los negocios de las señoras están relacionados con el comercio, producción y servicio, como ser: venta de vísceras y otras menudencias de vaca, venta de fruta, venta de CD`s, confección de poleras, tienda de pastelería, venta de comida, venta de medias.

La señorita Dionicia presidenta de la asociación “Machaj Mara”, es una mujer joven de 27 años soltera. Ella comenta que su negocio consiste en la venta de fruta desde hace mas de cinco años, su madre fue quien le enseñó. Es más no sólo vende la fruta sino que también viaja a Nor yungas para traerla. Realiza las ventas de lunes a domingo desde la 1 de la tarde hasta las 6 de la tarde, en la zona de Villa Dolores. Ella cuenta con la ayuda de su hermana.
Esta es la primera vez que solicita crédito, con ese dinero espera comprar mayor cantidad de fruta.
Cuando le consultan sobre qué es lo que más le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde con prudencia “recién voy a saber”, por lo pronto el crédito es lo que le ha hecho formar parte de su banca comunal.
