Josefa
Every two weeks the members of the 'Los Andes' community bank meet in the city of Portoviejo which has been known since colonial times as the City of the Royal Tamarind Trees.

Josefa is a founding member of the community bike and she likes it for the additional benefits which the institution provides such as, for example, life insurance. Josefa is 50 years old. She is married and has six children. Four of her children are already grown up and the two youingest are in high school and live with her. She is from Chimborazo province but she came to this city years ago.

Josefa has a stall in the center of Portoviejo where she sells fruit, above all fruit from the mountains such as: apples, grapes, pears and peaches, as well as other delicious fruit from this part of the country. She has been in this business for around 20 years. She gets her fruit from a wholesale supplier in Guayaquil.

This loan will be used to buy fruit such as: apples, grapes, pears, peaches, etc. Josefa's dream is to remain in good health so that she can continue working.

En la ciudad de Portoviejo, conocida como la Ciudad de Los Reales Tamarindos desde épocas coloniales se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Banco Comunal Los Andes.

La señora Josefa es socia fundadora del Banco Comunal y le gusta por los beneficios adicionales que brinda la institución como por ejemplo el seguro de vida. Tiene 50 años de edad, está casada y fruto de esta relación ha tenido seis hijos, cuatro son mayores de edad, los dos menores estudian en colegio y viven con ella. Ella es de la Provincia de Chimborazo pero ya hace años se vino a esta ciudad.

Tiene un puesto en el centro de Portoviejo en el cual se dedica a la venta de frutas, más que todo frutas de la sierra como: manzanas, uvas, peras, duraznos, entre otras ricas frutas de esta parte del país. Ya son como 20 años que se dedica a esta actividad en esta ciudad. Las frutas las traen desde una distribuidora mayorista en Guayaquil.

Este crédito es para comprar frutas como: manzanas, uvas, peras, duraznos, entre otras frutas. Su sueño es tener salud para seguir trabajando.
