Federico
Federico B. is 56 years old, married and has five adult-aged children. He is from the village of Santo Niño, a part of the municipality of Aurora, Isabela province on the islands of Luzon. Federico is a farmer, planting and harvesting corn for sale. Federico has been farming for over 36 years and earns approximately 6000 PHP a month.


In 2010, Federico joined ASKI to gain access to its financial services. Federico successfully repaid a previous loan of 10,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. Federico is requesting a new loan, his second from ASKI, of 25,000 PHP that will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. He plans to use the additional revenue generated to improve the general living conditions of his family.
