Ahmed S. is 44 years old and lives in the town of Abaita in the Kampala West region of Uganda. He is married and has one child. His child is currently in school. Ahmed has a hardware business, which he has had for less than one year. He also owns rental houses
To help expand his business, Ahmed has requested a loan of 1,600,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more hardware items. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Ahmed hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees. In the future, Ahmed hopes to expand his business further.
