Eunice is a widowed woman with three children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
She operates a vegetable stall, selling bananas, tomatoes, maize and green vegetables. In addition she sells paraffin and also buys and sells goats which contribute to her other source of income. Eunice faces a major challenge of transportation and seasonality in her business. She hopes to expand her business in the future.
She decided to join Yehu to access loans to improve her business. With the Kshs 30,000 she wants to purchase bundles of bananas, tomatoes and green vegetables.
