Mr. Orm C., age 52, is a married man living in Takhmao City. To earn a living, Mr. Orm C. works making bricks in a factory in his district and he earns a proper salary every month in order to support his family’s daily expenses. Mr. Orm C.'s wife is employed as a cleaner in the factory. Besides working, Mr. Orm C. is also a farmer and he owns a piece of farmland that he inherited many years ago from his grandparents. In the past, Mr. Orm C. has always hired the neighbor’s cow in order to alleviate the chore of plowing the farmland. Now he hopes to buy his own cow and that is why he is applying for a loan from Kiva. This will provide him with an additional fixed asset.
Note: Mr. Orm C.’s son is pictured here because he was not available when the photograph was taken.
