Danilo's story

Danilo D. C., Sr. is from the village of Saranay, Cabatuan, Isabela. He is 62 years old. Danilo is married and has three school-aged children. To make a living, Danilo owns and operates a fishing business, raising tilapia and selling it to the market and to community members. Danilo has been engaged in his business for more than 13 years and earns approximately 7000 PHP a month.

In 2007, Danilo joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his business and living situation. Danilo has successfully repaid a previous loan from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional fish to sell. Danilo is requesting a new loan of 20000 PHP, which will be used to purchase additional fish to sell. This will be the eighth loan taken by Danilo from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement his family's income.
