Anielca se dedica a la venta de medicamentos, desde hace 25 años que se dedica a este tipo de negocio, inicio por que ella no tenía un medio de ingreso para mantener a su familia por lo que es una mujer muy emprendedora no tiene mucho capital para comprar una gran variedad medicamentos. Su amiga Doris se dedica a la venta de ropa, desde hace más de 3 años que tiene este negocio, juntas han decidido salir adelante por medio de su financiamiento que será destinado para capital de trabajo.

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth.
