Ofelia F. is from the town of Sto. Niño. She is 44 and married with seven children. Her eldest child is 23 years old and the youngest is 7. Ofelia is a farmer. She plants and harvests rice crops to earn a living. She also raises hogs to augment her family income. Ofelia works hard to help sustain her children's education.
Ofelia joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Ofelia has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Ofelia is requesting a new loan of 17,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional seed, fertilizer, piglets and feed.
