To earn a living, Chi sells groceries. On average, she earns an income of approximately $5 per day. Her husband raises pigs at home. Chi has to spend approximately $80 on food, $10 on electricity and water supplies, and $125 on other necessary living expenses every month. Chi is now requesting a loan in the amount of $1,000 to purchase more groceries for re-sale purposes. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits generated from her business to repair her family's house. This would be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
