Rosa lives in the village of Trance Fanupe in the district of Morrope. It is a rural region in northern Peru near the city of Chiclayo. She is twenty-one years old. She is a single mother and has one daughter. She shares her home with her parents and child.
In the rear part of her family’s home, Rosa raises animals. She has a small herd of pigs, ducks, and turkeys which she raises for meat. She sells the animals once the reach the appropriate size in the major market of Moshoqueque which is in the city of Chiclayo. In addition, Rosa will at times works as a farm hard, assisting it the planting, maintenance and harvest of crops on local farms.
This will be Rosa’s second loan with Edpyme Alternativa. She has good credit history and good references from the community. She plans to use the loan in order to purchase additional feed for her animals and expand her herd. She hopes to be able to increase the household income and provide for the education of her daughter. She is a dedicated mother and proud entrepreneur.
