Raya started to sell garden stuff at the local market and opened a sales location there. In 1998, in order to find a better place to live, she moved to Belovodskoe village where she continued her business in sales. Raya decided to sell ware and detergents and, owing to her wide experience in this activity, achieved success. With the revenues, she was able to buy a flat which was reconstructed as a grocery store. She bought goods and resold them by herself, without any help. Her shop became known for the good quality of the products and attentive customer service.

Now Raya wants to take a loan of 60,000 KGS to broaden the assortment of goods in her shop. It will allow her to raise floating capital and increase her number of customers. Raya believes that her optimistic spirit and perseverance in her business will help her to improve her family’s lives.
