Sandra Yamile
Sandra, 39, sells movie CDs, videos and provides laundry services to her neighbors. She lives in a periurban zone, El Fortín de Guayaquil, noted for its unpaved streets.

She started the business because her neighborhood did not have a store that sold CDs and movies. She works with her children from 7am until 8pm every day selling music and movie CDs. To have more money she now also works providing laundry services in order to keep her children stable economically since she’s a single mother.

She wants to stay in business in order to continue to support her children who are still small so she wants to use the loan to buy CDs and a washing machine to increase her laundry services.

In the future she’d like to have a cement house because it’s currently made out of bricks and to enlarge her movie store.
