This group has been together for a year, and they know each other as friends and loan partners. The group is comprised of ten members who work in various businesses, such as blanket weaving, broasted chicken sales, vegetables, knitting sweaters, selling lace, hairstyling, macramé, selling pork, knitting with wool, and selling cheese and potatoes.

Mrs. Elsa is the president of the community bank. She is a young woman, 23 years old, and is currently awaiting the arrival of her first baby. She shares she has been part of this community bank since it began. Mrs. Elsa works knitting alpaca wool by machine to make different types of clothing, ponchos, sweaters, and more. Her first loan of 1,000 bolivianos was used to buy wool. The current loan for this cycle is for 2,000 bolivianos to be used for the same purpose.

Her favorite part of working with Pro Mujer is that she likes sharing with her loan partners.

La B.C. “Amigas por siempre” inicia su ciclo Nº3 en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, es un grupo que ha compartido un año juntas, ya se conocen como amigas y también como garantes. La banca comunal está compuesta por diez integrantes. Los negocios que desempeñan son: macramé de mantas, venta de pollo a la broster, verduras, tejido de chompas, venta de mantillas, estilista, macramé, venta de carne de chancho, tejido de lanas, venta de queso y papa.

La presidenta de la banca comunal, la señora Elsa es una mujer joven de 23 años de edad, al momento se encuentra esperando su primer bebé. Comenta que está en la banca comunal de “Amigas por siempre” desde su fundación. La señora Elsa tiene como negocio tejido a máquina en lana de alpaca, de diferentes tipos de prenda, ponchos, chompas y otros. Su primer préstamo fue por Bs.1000.- y fue invertido en la compra de lana, para este ciclo su solicitud fue de Bs.2000 con el mismo objetivo.
Cuando se le consultó que le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella comenta que le gusta compartir con sus compañeras.
