Emily is 64 years old, a mother of three children and a widow. Her business involves buying bags of maize at her village and transporting them to bigger centers to resell at a profit. She also does dairy farming and sells her milk to neighbors and the rest she sells at the nearest center.
She learned about Kadet through an existing client. With this first loan she plans to purchase bags of maize which she will sell at a profit. Her future plan is to own a lorry which she will be using to transport the bags of maize for resale.
