Jazmin
Jazmín Ramírez, 29, says that she started her business outside under a tree. She had only one small haircutting tool, a mirror, and a strong desire to get ahead. Today, and since the year 2007, she says that "she is her own boss" and that discipline, dedication and a good sense of humor have been the foundations of her growth as a person and as a businesswoman. She has a salon with chairs, mirrors, glass display cases, hair washing stands, supplies, adequate tools, and television sets to distract her customers as they wait. Although she works very long days, she does not falter, because her family is her motivation and inspiration to make each day the best.

This is her first loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, and she will invest it in her beauty salon, called "Jehová Shalon," by purchasing supplies such as: hair dyes, hair treatment ampules and hair massages and rinses, to use in her business and also to sell to her customers. In addition to providing beauty services, Jazmin also advises her customers, because in the area of style and beauty Jazmin knows everything, and she is constantly improving her knowledge by attending seminars. She is very content with her business, because she is always surrounded by her customers, who are her neighbors, relatives, referrals, housewives, young people and children. In addition, as a result of this work and that of her husband, she can increase the family income and provide a quality education to her 3 children who are now between the ages of 5 and 10 years.
