Thanks to his work, he has succeeded in supporting his family and keeping up with other expenses. His desire to overcome has also helped him a great deal. He would like to increase his working capital and has come to this institution seeking a loan so he can buy supplies and produce his goods.
Don Miguel O., es de 42 años de edad, tiene 10 hijos, de los cuales 4 estan estudiando, trabaja en la artesanía (tejeduría) elaboración de cortes, lo cual viene realizando desde hace mas de 15 años, ha logrado sostener a su familia y sufragar otros gastos gracias al trabajo que tiene y el deseo de superacion tambien le ha sido de mucha ayuda, quiere amopliar su capital de trabajo, se acerca a esta institución para solicitar un prestamo para compra materia prima y elaborar el producto que realiza.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
